Photographed in March 2021 this
floral art features Anemone blanda, also known as the
Windflower. One of the first Spring blooms, Anemone blanda
bears large daisy like flowers in a range of colours
including, purple, pink and white, but the true blue of this
anemone is a firm favourite. This cheerful blue anemone is
perfect for naturalising under trees and shrubs where its
early spring blooms attract pollinators such as bees.
Also known as the Grecian
windflower due to the Greek for ‘daughter of the wind’, the
fern like foliage perfectly complements the beautiful blue
blooms. The flowers are perfect to use as cut flowers and will
bloom again once cut. |
