Hello and welcome to Lens Art.
Lens Art is a

currently featured and another 5 preparing their work, and
expected to be on board in the very near future.

About our Photographers:
Art G: Originally an
aviation photographer but has now diversified and also has an
interest in macro photography since purchasing a Tamron 90mm
lens a few years back. Art's main passion is HDR, and states
that he uses often complex work flows to create Wall Art from
his photography. The range of treatments is subject
dependant, some are subtle and are designed to more accurately
replicate what the eye would have seen and the more extreme,
used to produce vivid deep colours to resemble a painting -
although he draws the line at the grungy appearance some use
these days.
Ceegie: A
Hampshire based photographer who cut his teeth whilst in the
army in the far east with a Petriflex film camera. Now using
the Canon EOS 70d as his tool of choice, his photographic
interests range from macro (mostly flowers and insects) and
birds to landscapes. He often joins Art G and other local
photographers on walkabout throughout the Hampshire area, and
gets frustrated by the cold - although as we understand it he
now has a new pair of gloves...
Chappers Photography:
Always aiming to get a sense of realism within his
photographs, Chappers Photography will cover a wide range of
subjects including wildlife, sports and equine. Although, the
favoured and specialist subject of historic aviation has
dominated recent work and led to numerous accolades including
several airshow reviews and competition commendations. You can
now see Chappers Photography’s images adorning the official
clothing merchandise of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Clickety Pics:
A Photographer and Digital Media Artist with a keen
interest in military aviation from around the world.
Travelling throughout the UK over the years has enabled him to
get the images that people want, and also provide the
material for some quality digital artworks which have proved
to be very popular. He has covered air shows for reviews as a
technical photographer and reviewer for Royal International
Air Tattoo, Farnborough International Air Show, Waddington Air
Show, RAF Cosford, Airbourne and IWM Duxford on behalf of
Airscene.
Helen George: Helen is a flower and nature
photographer based in London where the majority of her floral
art is captured in her own garden. Her passion for collecting
plants and creating a wildflower meadow inspired her to
photograph the flowers and visiting wildlife. Showcasing her
photography on social media platforms resulted in her images
being published in nature and wildlife publications including
floral art featuring in a 2018 calendar.
Her garden has
an abundance of wildlife and much to the dismay of her
neighbours she can often be seen climbing into the shrubbery
to capture that special and sometimes fleeting moment when a
butterfly visits to feast on the many flowers she grows.
IES Photography:
Aviation photography has always been a part of IES
Photography's life, with over 25 years of aircraft photography
under his belt. A love of sports also has seen him shooting
from the sidelines at various high profile Premier League,
Champions League and FA Cups finals. Nature photography is the
relaxing part and has travelled the length of the UK to
capture various birds and mammals often spending hours at
nature reserves hoping for that special shot. IES has also
been involved in news photography and has been fortunate that
some images have been on the front and inside pages of the
national papers.
Kim Louise:
Based in South Wales Kim contributes as both a writer and
photographer for "Countryfile" magazine. With a keen interest
in insect photography that she developed following a series of
horse riding injuries, she is especially fond of Hornets, but
it is the study of spiders which really lights her fire. Kim
takes regular treks throughout the countryside with her 100mm
Canon macro lens, and can often be found clambering up Welsh
Hills and Mountains, causing much concern to her nearest and
dearest.
Su
Bradley Photography: I'm an amateur
photographer from Folkestone in Kent. I got my first "proper"
camera (a Nikon Coolpix P100) in 2009, and a Nikon D5100 the
following year. I still use that same DSLR, alongside a Nikon
CoolPix B700, Nikon CoolPix S9500, and occasionally a Huawei P
Smart 2019 phone camera. Some images you'll see here were
taken using a Nikon D90. The majority of my images are big
cats, wildlife, classic American cars, the occasional plane,
but sometimes there may be something completely different.
