This photograph was taken by fixing 4 sheets of curved paper with paperclips, and standing them on edge on top of a sheet of paper on top of clear plastic, which was raised off the tabletop using toilet roll tubes.
2 small coloured lights (one red, one blue) were place on opposite sides of the paper and then the camera was set up. Using a macro lens with an aperture of f4 to focus on the top edges of the paper, while leaving the bottom sheet out of focus, the saturation was turned up to give deep rich colours.
