This wall art print is an image of Clematis ‘Fond Memories’. It shows the flower newly opening and every year it never fails to perform. Fond Memories is a variety of Clematis that is perfectly named and I am certainly fond of this very showy climber with its tinged and margined rosy-lavender flowers, rosy-lavender on the reverse side and deep red-purple anthers in the centre. A description that makes this Clematis a very photogenic flower.
Photographed in my garden in the Summer of 2019 Clematis 'Fond Memories' is a beautiful medium sized climber. Clematis are a popular garden plant because of their colourful and attractive flowers, originating from China and Japan, new varieties are being introduced every year. Clematis ‘Fond Memories’ will always have a place in my garden, I am too fond of this beautiful Clematis to replace it with one of the new varieties.
