Two Spitfires breaking away from a Lancaster Bomber in this depiction of a flight across the South Oxfordshire countryside, this digital montage contains my Spitfire shots and lancaster bomber.
The Lancaster Bomber is PA474 in the livery of "Phantom of the Ruhr" as a tribute to the crews which took part in the low level raids on the Mohne, Sorpe and Edersee dams in the Germany.
The Spitfires in the image are MH434 which was flown by the late Ray Hannah, and the clipped wing Spitfire EP120 bearing the nose art "City of Winnipeg" and 9 enemy kills.
