Honorine floral art features the Japanese anemone 'Honorine Jobert', a beautiful late Summer early Autumn white flowering anemone. Perfect for brightening up the garden in late summer, this anemone grows in sun or shade and has masses of elegant cup-shaped white flowers on tall wiry stems from August to October.
I photographed Honorine in my garden in August 2021. Autumn flowering anemones are traditional for a lot of cottage gardens. They’re used in big planting schemes because they are so reliable and come in a range of forms and colours, single flowering, double flowering, dark pinks, soft pinks and clear white.
