Photographed in August 2019 in my garden ‘Summer Garden’ features Dahlia ‘Mystic Memories’ with rudbeckias and pink dahlias in the background.
Dahlia Mystic Memories is a new dark leaved variety with soft peach coloured flowers, red highlights and a dark centre. Bred by Dr. Keith Hammond in New Zealand under the mystic series of dahlias, they grow well planted in the garden and in pots from June to the first frosts.
Dahlia’s have become a must have plant for me, I was honoured to have one of my dahlia images featured in the National Dahlia Collection 2018 calendar.
Dahlia Mystic Memories is a distinctive new variety, stylish and more contemporary for today’s gardens and being opened flowered, bees and butterflies love them.
