This photograph of one of Stanley Park's large floral beds, shows a bright assortment of Rudbeckia (mostly in orange and yellow as per the title). This print is shown exactly as it was taken with no modifications whatsoever - shot at 90mm with a Tamron macro lens and an aperture of F5 highlights the structure of the flowers in the front, but allows the plants to the rear to merge into each other to give the gorgeous blur of colour in the background.
Stanley Park is situated off Western Way, Gomer Lane and also Stokes Bay Road. This tranquil and serene area is Gosport's largest formal park and is well know locally for its splendid floral displays. Located near to the Seafront, Stanley Park is extremely popular in the summer months where families come to picnic and spend time enjoying the sunshine.
